Commitment, explained.

The terms.
In plain sight.

A practical guide to liquidity commitments: what a team pays for, how providers compete, and what happens when the clock runs out.

01 / THE IDEA

Teams buy time. LPs name their price.

STEYY is a proposed marketplace for fixed-term LP commitments. A sponsor offers a reward budget; providers compete to supply eligible LP tokens for an agreed period.

The commitment is measured in LP token units for one selected pool. Every selected provider agrees to the same campaign duration and unlock date. The sponsor pays each provider the reward in their accepted offer.

For teams

A defined commitment.

Set a target, choose a term and fund a reward budget. Eligible offers compete on their requested reward.

For providers

A price you agree to.

Choose how many LP tokens to offer and the total SOL reward you request for the full term.

Commitment is the product.Locking an existing LP position does not necessarily add new liquidity. It commits eligible LP tokens for a period; it does not guarantee constant pool depth, token price or investment returns.
02 / CAMPAIGN TERMS

Set the terms before offers open.

A sponsor prepares a campaign for one eligible pool. The proposed campaign rules require the reward budget to be funded before offers open.

Eligible pool
The exact LP token accepted by the campaign. Tokens from another pool cannot fill its target.
LP target
The number of LP token units that must be selected for the campaign to succeed. LP units from different pools are not directly comparable.
Reward budget
The maximum total SOL available for accepted offers. It is a budget, not a promised APY.
Commitment term
The duration selected by the sponsor. Campaign terms shown are 7, 14 and 30 days.
Offer deadline
The point when offers close and selection is resolved. It must occur before the commitment starts.
Start & unlock
The scheduled start and end of the commitment. Providers review these dates before offering.

Once open, the core terms stay fixed. The proposed flow does not let a sponsor change the pool, target, budget, deadline or duration after providers begin submitting offers. A draft can be edited before it opens.

Any displayed fiat value is only an estimate. The actual commitment remains a quantity of LP tokens, whose value can change.

03 / PROVIDER OFFERS

Name your amount. Name your reward.

Each offer states the LP tokens a provider is willing to commit and the total SOL reward requested for the whole campaign term.

  1. Review the campaign. Check the pool, reward budget, deadline, duration and unlock date.
  2. Choose an LP amount. The amount must use the campaign’s eligible LP token.
  3. Request a total reward. The request covers the full term, not a daily rate.
  4. Choose whether to allow a partial fill. This requires an explicit opt-in. Without it, only the full offer can be accepted.
  5. Submit and wait for selection. An offer is not a confirmed commitment until it is selected and the campaign succeeds.
Offered ≠ committed.“LP offered” counts submitted offers. “LP committed” describes selected positions in a successfully funded campaign. A popular campaign can have more LP offered than it needs.

If partial fills are allowed, the provider receives the same requested reward per LP token on the accepted amount. The unused portion is released. There is no silent consent to accepting a smaller position.

04 / HOW SELECTION WORKS

The lowest qualifying offers go first.

The proposed selection rule is pay as bid: eligible offers are ranked by requested SOL reward divided by offered LP units. All offers within a campaign share the same term, so the comparison uses the cost of the whole commitment.

  1. Rank eligible offers from lowest to highest requested reward per LP token. Equal prices use submission order.
  2. Accept a full offer if it fits the remaining LP target and reward budget.
  3. If an offer is too large for the remaining target, fill only the required amount when that provider opted into partial fills. Scale its reward proportionally.
  4. If the offer cannot be accepted under its terms, skip it and consider the next offer.
  5. Fund the campaign only if the target is filled within the reward budget. Otherwise, the campaign fails and refunds apply.

A worked example

A campaign needs 10,000 LP tokens and has a 9 SOL reward budget. These sample offers all use the same pool and term:

OfferLP offeredReward requestedSOL / 1,000 LPResult
AFull offer4,0002 SOL0.504,000 LP · 2 SOL
BPartial fill allowed8,0004.8 SOL0.606,000 LP · 3.6 SOL
CFull offer6,0004.2 SOL0.70Not selected
10,000 LPTarget filled
5.6 SOLAgreed rewards
3.4 SOLUnused sponsor budget

A keeps its accepted 0.50 SOL per 1,000 LP price. B keeps its 0.60 price on the smaller accepted amount. There is no single clearing price applied to both. If B had declined partial fills, B would be skipped and C could fill the remaining 6,000 LP for 4.2 SOL.

This worked example illustrates the proposed selection rules.

05 / THE LIFECYCLE

One campaign. Clear states.

The proposed lifecycle gives every campaign a defined state, from preparation through settlement.

  1. DraftThe sponsor prepares the campaign. Core terms can still be edited.
  2. OpenA funded campaign accepts offers under fixed terms until its deadline.
  3. FundedSelection fills the target within budget. Winning commitments await the agreed start.
  4. ActiveThe commitment term is running. Selected LP tokens stay committed until the unlock date.
  5. CompletedThe term has ended. Committed LP tokens and agreed sponsor rewards become available under the proposed settlement rules.
  6. RefundedAn alternative outcome after offers close: the target could not be filled within budget, so sponsor funds and provider assets return.

“Refunded” is an alternative outcome from an open campaign; it does not follow “Completed”.

06 / UNLOCKS & REFUNDS

Know what comes back, and when.

If the campaign succeeds: selected LP token quantities remain committed for the full agreed term. At unlock, providers receive access to those LP tokens and their accepted SOL rewards. The sponsor recovers the unused reward budget.

If the target is not filled: the commitment does not begin. The proposed flow returns the sponsor’s reward funds and releases provider assets. An unsuccessful campaign does not distribute sponsor rewards.

If an offer is not selected: its LP tokens are not part of the commitment and are released. For a partially filled offer, only the accepted portion is committed and rewarded.

Early withdrawal is not part of the proposed commitment. Review the unlock date before submitting an offer. The product does not promise an early exit, a buyback or a fixed LP value.

Pool fees are separate.A sponsor reward is the agreed payment for the commitment. Underlying pool fees and LP value can vary. Pool fee entitlements depend on the supported pool and final contract design.
07 / KNOW THE RISKS

A fixed term is not a fixed return.

The reward request prices a commitment. It does not remove the risks of the underlying position or of the system that would hold it.

LP value can fall.

Changes in the pool’s token prices and composition can reduce the value of an LP position. A sponsor reward may not cover those losses.

Committed means unavailable.

A selected provider would give up access to the committed portion until unlock, including during sharp market moves.

Depth is not guaranteed.

A fixed number of LP units does not preserve a fixed SOL or dollar value. Token issuers and pool conditions can change.

Execution needs review.

Escrow and selection contracts can contain flaws. Independent review and clear custody terms are essential before a live commitment.

11 / COMMON QUESTIONS

A few things worth settling.

What does a team actually buy?

A defined commitment of eligible LP tokens for an agreed term. It buys time under specific terms; it does not guarantee constant pool depth, token price, trading volume or investor profit.

Does this automatically create new liquidity?

No. A provider could commit an existing LP position. The commitment gives that position a defined term without necessarily creating a new deposit in the underlying pool.

Does the highest offered LP amount win?

No. The proposed ranking compares the SOL reward requested per LP token. An offer must also fit the remaining target, budget and its own partial-fill terms.

Can my offer be partly accepted?

Only if you explicitly allow partial fills. Your accepted reward scales in proportion to the LP amount selected. Without that consent, the selection process skips an offer that cannot be accepted in full.

Why show a reward instead of APY?

The agreed reward is a total SOL amount for a specific LP quantity and term. An annualized percentage could imply a stable position value or repeatable result that the campaign does not promise.

Can a sponsor change the terms after opening?

The proposed flow keeps the core campaign terms fixed after opening. Sponsors can prepare and edit a draft before it opens, but providers should not be committed under terms that later change.

What if enough LP is offered, but the budget is too small?

Offered volume alone is not enough. The target must be filled by qualifying offers within the funded budget. If it cannot, the campaign fails and refunds apply.

Can I connect a real wallet?

Yes. A supported wallet can share its public address with this page. STEYY does not request signatures or transactions. Saved offers and drafts remain on this device. Read Connect your wallet for supported connection methods.

When can I fund a campaign?

Funded campaigns are not available yet. Read Product availability for the current status, and follow @steyyxyz for updates.
